The Product is a portal where people can create their own communities or join the already existed ones. Additionally, it provides access to some educational services, offered by the Customer or their partners. The portal supports integration with external applications (via LDAP user database and XML services).

The Educational company needed an educational product which would empower their students and help them to master Math, the subject that many people find difficult. Math Master Browser developed by Itransition is a Swing-based client-side application, which serves as a learning platform for math educators and students. Client application process and store created tasks and other educational content to the web-based server with tasks storage and database. The GUI is as close as possible to the standard Microsoft Internet Explorer interface with familiar, user-friendly and comfortable views.

Itransition’s task was to develop a new platform for an online educational product, whose design concepts were created in cooperation with the customer’s subject matter experts and Itransition business analysts. Also, as a secondary goal, the software had to provide ASP possibilities for the customer (application server should be used for providing online educational courses for any other organization and students). The principal requirements were user friendliness, light-weight and customizable web-design, multiple browsers (even PDA-based) support and usability.

Censer-Education is a dedicated provider of instructor-moderated training delivered in a virtual classroom environment. CECAM portal was developed to bring together providers of instructor-moderated training and their customers. The system offers portal functionality and an effective way to promote training events. To successfully maintain and develop a series of regular workshops and tutorials in different fields Censer-Education needed a professional application system. Itransition created the system that incorporated most management activities, course registration, final testing and payment procedures.
