.NET Senior Developer (+ GeneXus Platform)
Description
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with GeneXus Platform experience to join our team. This role involves contributing to a long-term project for a U.S.-based client in the automotive industry. You will work in a remote, collaborative environment, ensuring adherence to software development best practices, delivering high-quality software solutions, and supporting the client with their daily operations.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, including ASP.NET MVC and Web API
- Experience working with the GeneXus low-code platform
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience working directly with clients
- Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy code
- Basic knowledge and interest in DevOps activities
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach when interacting with clients
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
Nice to have
- Experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks
- Experience with message queues (MSMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka)
- Knowledge of Hangfire for background job processing
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and support of a long-term software project in the automotive industry
- Refactor and rewrite legacy code using modern technologies
- Investigate and solve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with a distributed development team across different countries and time zones
- Work closely with the client’s team across the West and East Coasts of the U.S., ensuring proactive communication and alignment on requirements
