About Ilya

Ilya joined Itransition in 2011 as a developer and has been an IoT solutions architect since 2018. He is responsible for designing IoT infrastructures for our clients and ensuring that IoT projects are well-planned, efficiently executed, and meet established business needs. Ilya has a comprehensive knowledge of IoT technologies, from IoT architecture to devices and hardware to network security.

An accomplished strategist, Ilya works closely with clients’ stakeholders and translates their needs and pain points into functional and non-functional requirements for IoT solutions. He then oversees our team of IoT engineers, data analysts, and other experts bringing the solution to life and deploying it to the target environment.

Examples of Ilya’s recent projects include the following:

IoT SaaS service for researchers to manage access and analyze the activity of their lab equipment, where Ilya designed the architecture of core services, fine-tuned the performance, mitigated OEM provider instability, and supervised the development team.
Multitenant advertising platform that allows users to buy products directly from the video on a variety of devices, where Ilya designed the architecture of the analytics system, set up and supported the infrastructure, and fine-tuned the system’s performance.

As a forward-looking project leader, Ilya keeps track of emerging technologies related to IoT, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, edge computing, and blockchain.
